NEW edition of "Council News", Volume 33, Edition 2
In light of cost-efficiency measures, SC-SIC has discontinued the printing and mailing of Council News to local SIC members and others interested in School Improvement Council related news. Council News will be sent out electronically via email and is available here for downloading. SIC Chairs and principals are asked to share hardcopies of Council News with those members of their SICs who may not have ready access to email or the Internet.

Archived editions of the former SIC newsletter, Council News, are made available here to all SIC members and the general public. Featuring information critical to the running of an effective School Improvement Council and articles to help increase your school's awareness of current issues and assist in identifying resources and best practices, Council News was discontinued in 2011 due to budget cuts.
SC-SIC now sends the SIC email news blast, Clips and Quips. Clips and Quips contains important information and updates that help keep you informed of issues affecting public education in South Carolina and is emailed to all SIC members and friends who share their email addresses with us and wish to receive it. Please contact our office if you would like to be added to the SIC email news list.
