- Business partners
- Community members who are not teachers or parents with children at the school
- Students in grades 9 - 12
For more details read the SIC Handbook, "The Basics" . It's available for download here or on the "SIC Handbook, 'The Basics' " page. A Spanish translation is also available on the SIC Handbook web page.
SIC Ex-Officio Members
The school principal MUST ALWAYS serve as an Ex-Officio member of the council.
Other people may also serve as Ex-Officio by virtue of their relationship with the school, including:
- PTA/O president
- Volunteer coordinator
- Business partner
- Booster Club president
- Teacher of the Year
- The previous year's SIC Chair
The numbers and types of Ex-Officio members depends upon the school's needs.
