Your SIC District Contact is a school district official appointed by the district superintendent to assist local SICs.

The SIC District Contact oversees the reporting of school improvement council membership information for each SIC to the state office, the SC School Improvement Council.

• This is accomplished by entering the membership information into the on-line SC-SIC Member Network database.
• The information may be entered by the district office OR the District Contact may appoint an individual within each school's administrative offices to enter the SIC membership information.
• By SC state law, SIC Membership information must be reported to the SC-SIC offices via the SC-SIC Member Network by November 15 of each school year.

The District Contact is also responsible for connecting SICs to the state office for training and resources, and may provide direct training to their district's SICs.
